Just such a beautiful movie. One of the most realistic depictions of friendship and growing apart that I have ever seen. So devastating but also so so so comforting. (Plus one of the best scores ever by Yo La Tengo)
This movie is beautiful and funny from the beginning to the very end. One, if not the, best coming of age movie!
And the opening song is perfect for the opening scene it really made me feel in the snow.

This is a movie I wouldn’t have chose to watch for myself, but a friend recommended it and it has become one of my favorites. It is absolutely heartbreaking.
Heartbreaking but brings me so much comfort. Relationships are fucking complicated. The relatability of it all and the visuals too. I know it’s kind of a cult classic at this point but I still won’t spoil too much for those who haven’t seen it :P
