when i first heard this a few years back, i thought it was a new release. its from 1991 - these lot are so ahead of their time… i think you’ll love it, its got that good groove.

bizarre experimental new wave synth pop duo - been listening to them a lot lately, this record “code” from 1987 and their record “groovy, laidback and nasty” from 1990
both records sound v much of the era they were each made, spooky sexy electronic stuff - you can hear a cross over between nine inch nails and pet shop boys

I have been loving listening to the julian casablancas / daft punk collaborations and so i revisited this oldie and it holds up, even though i remember how much they beat this track dead on the radio when i was a kid. right now it really makes me feel like i am 23

The Equatics - Doin It!!!!
This album was self produced, recorded and performed by a group of high school seniors inside of their school gym in 1972, it’s incredibly soulful, funky and tender. The group never recorded another album again!
Don’t let this album be lost to time, it’s amazing!!
