Listen nothing helps u disassociate from life more than a day on Disney property, Disney adult or not, there’s so much over stimulation and constant thinking and replanning u have to do based on where the crowds are, now add another level of scouring the parks for good AUTHENTIC pins? Have the pleasure of feeling the sun on your skin while you walk to a mostly empty movie theater. Enjoy the first showing of the horror movie you’ve been wanting to see, all while knowing the children and creatures under your care are safe and sound at their respective daycares. Wander towards home and stop at your local taco place for a peaceful and fresh lunch.
Feel good knowing you are the master of your own destiny, and that you don’t need a luxurious vacation to fill yourself up with love and rest. Revel in the fact that you can choose to spend time on yourself and that it is ultimately worth it; because investing in your own happiness is worth it, and you are worth it.

Solo vacations = not having to manage the expectations of anyone but yourself = freedom to make the trip whatever YOU want it to be.

Lately I’ve been disgusted at how much I rely on my phone. I’ve been leaving it in my car, letting loved ones know I’ll be unresponsive for a while, and just taking my digital camera everywhere I go. I’m more engaged in conversations, my attention span is better, AND I have some sweet new digi pics. everything looks so REAL on a digital cam:)
