I am Kamuter. Well, that’s my music project. It started with me making music on my phone during my commutes from Brooklyn to Manhattan back in 2017. My first EP and full-length album were made entirely on my phone on the subway. Hence the name.
My latest full-length album, Beholder, is the result of me learning more music production during lockdown. I did not use my phone at all. And the album is a bit of a self portrait of things I was going thru and thinking about during that strange time.
I‘d Love it if you checked it out. I released it as an album, but I also released every track as a single, and created a playlist with them all so you can experience the different artworks. It’s especially nice if you have Carplay or something like that.
I linked to my website which has other music and sound projects, but also links to different places to stream my music. You can also support me directly by purchasing my music on Bandcamp. But what’s the best is sharing it with others. I’m just one guy doing all of this, and what I really want is for folks to hear it and be inspired.

I stumble upon this artist on a Byline article that I read a few weeks ago and come to like it a lot. If you think no one cares about your spotify link or music recs , I’m here to tell u that I’m one of the people that (almost) always click the link and end up adding the song to my playlist. An OG country rock classic from the late ‘60s California canyon scene. Story behind the band is interesting too, close proximity to all the greats in L.A. at the time (The Byrds, Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Rolling Stones, etc.) RIP Gram.

Oldstar is a great country rock band. The music is alt-country, country-folk, lo-fi, and nice. “Plate Numbers” sounds very Big Star/Replacements.
