Yesterday I watched Terminator 2. Masterpiece! Builds on top of everything that I liked about the first Terminator film. I love the CGI and I feel like it has held up really well. I love the action and the characters. Arnold Schwarzenegger is even more of a badass in this film. You can tell a lot of attention to the story and detail was put into the film.

⚔️I watched Gladiator 2 the other day. I thought it would be more of a bro movie but I actually really enjoyed it. I haven’t seen the first one, but I didn’t really need to in order to understand what was happening.

My parents saw this on opening weekend somewhere in Manhattan with no contextual knowledge about it whatsoever and described it as a very memorable experience.

Dude I fucking love this movie.. JDW and Robert Pattinson are so awesome together. As the lead action guy JDW is super entertaining.. nepotism be damned the guy can carry a movie. The villain is entertaining and evil but not cartoonishly. Michael Caine is in it. I swear people who complain that this is a confusing movie stopped watching like 3/4 of the way through. Surprisingly coherent despite how intimidating time manipulation may be to some people. The second half recontextualizes everything confusing from earlier and by the end almost everything is tied up in a way that makes sense. Rewards rewatching.. I finished it and spun it back to the beginning immediately and loved it even more …. My biggest complaint is that the mixing is *horrible* which is apparently a hallmark of Nolan films designed solely for IMAX theaters. This needs captions or you’ll be completely lost.

I am a big Talking Heads fan and that song is one of my favorite songs ever. I love the hypnotic feel and lovely lyrics. It makes me feel happy and warm. So that is my getting ready for the day song.

Such an important documentary film, and I’m glad that my local Lyric Theater showed this film. It was devastating but I hope more people watch this film. Thank you to the people who worked on this film. I’m so glad this film won an Oscar! The work done in this film is great and I would love to applaud every single one of these people that made this movie.

I have been eating this sandwich for a long time and it tastes so good to me. I heard some people have this grilled but I don’t grill them. Make sure you grab some water while you eat because it can be hard to chew down.
