Such an important documentary film, and I’m glad that my local Lyric Theater showed this film. It was devastating but I hope more people watch this film. Thank you to the people who worked on this film. I’m so glad this film won an Oscar! The work done in this film is great and I would love to applaud every single one of these people that made this movie.

🎞Finally got to see a print of this at The Roxy the other night. Such a stunning and harrowing film, which has now become one of my favorites. I felt so immersed in it, and really empathized and fell in love with these characters. Highly recommend it, although it may be a difficult watch for some because of the subject matter.

this didn’t win at the oscars, but i will die on the hill that this is hands down the best of the short films this year. maybe it’s because i care a lot about conservation, but the dedication the rangers have to protecting all of the animals they oversee is so inspiring and resonated with me soooo much

I bought a ticket on a whim this evening. Horrifying, beautiful, arresting, gut-wrenching, electric. It’s not perfect but I have not had a viewing experience like that in I don’t even know how long—I was riveted and emotionally invested. It uses real protest footage from the Women, Life, Freedom revolt in Iran and the movie was filmed in secret; just days after he was finished shooting, the director Mohammad Rasoulof was sentenced to eight years in prison and flogging for his previous activism and filmmaking by the Iranian Revolutionary Court and fled to Europe. This is essential viewing and if it’s still playing in a theater near you RUN to go see it and show your support for the immensely courageous and talented people who made this film

I am a big Talking Heads fan and that song is one of my favorite songs ever. I love the hypnotic feel and lovely lyrics. It makes me feel happy and warm. So that is my getting ready for the day song.

I have been eating this sandwich for a long time and it tastes so good to me. I heard some people have this grilled but I don’t grill them. Make sure you grab some water while you eat because it can be hard to chew down.

Evil Dead 2 is hilarious and I love the protagonist a lot. Really recommend it since it has some of the craziest scenes and one-liners. Groovy.
