today i saw a dear college friend who was in town for a concert. we haven’t seen each other since 2017. since then we’ve lived through a pandemic, graduated with a masters (me) and a PhD (her), examined our spirituality, and shifted family dynamics. she’s a professor at our old university now, and we wondered at how different we are from our college selves. so proud of us & our capacity for growth & how we’ve learned to like & trust ourselves over the past decade. what an honor to witness!

A dude who would write some website articles and blogs etc who lived in my city and was also funny on twitter, whose content I would engage with- later he followed me and then I found out he grew up with a friend I would see regularly, so we linked up irl and played some tennis a few times and hung.

yess as an artist I've definitely seen other artists irl or online post stuff that has a pinterest reference that i recognize or have used! It's so strange to see and it's always the same 4 pics. my fave new way of finding inspo is finding local zines/magazines/artists/photo or art books, wayyyyy more innovative and cool

I found out about the app Tidal in my class and it's a really cool music app owned by Jay-z I think? The audio quality is way better and around the same price as Spotify. I only pay $5 a month since I'm a student and Spotify is supposed to get more expensive.
I don't know if I'm just the last person to hear about this since suddenly I've seen people using it in public but yeah
