🎷Being a jazz musician, I am incredibly biased toward jazz as a genre, and it's even more unsurprising that I absolutely adore going to any gig around town that I can find.
Tonight I find myself face-to-face with a friend I didn't expect to see, his voice just as beautiful as ever, going through standard after standard with hardly a sweat, even through the terribly hot night.
Nothing I love more than my coffee, American Spirit, jazz, and some conversation with perfect strangers.

😮old jazz, new jazz, all jazz is absolute GOLD. soothes the soul and mind. transports me to a place of utter bliss. even doing something I don’t like, I put on a jazz playlist and I can physically feel all of my stress dissipate.

🗺I wish I could speak every language to converse with everyone around the world! There’s something tantalizing about having this ability. Perhaps because deep conversations are a doorway into someone‘s upbringing and people’s cultures, and there is so much joy in hearing someone‘s story. In another lifetime, surely I was a polyglot enjoying company from people all around the world!
