COLLECTING HAIR

asking your friends for a piece of their hair and keeping it somewhere safe. i have a wooden display box where i put them up so i always can look at them. in the victorian era mourners used to save locks of hair and turn it into jewellery or put it on their walls as memory of the deceased. its very sad that we stopped doing this and, i’m gonna learn how to work with hair so it’ll look a bit nicer heh!

Chopping off a lot of hair

I just cut off like a foot of hair? Maybe 8 inches, I’m not sure? Anyway, hair is now in a shaggy bob and it used to go down past my bra band and I feel really generally good.
I def believe hair holds memories and other things and even though this was just inspired becUse I’m tired of having tangles in the winter and not a major life event I still feel a lot lighter.
Also showers are so easy and saving a ton of $ on shampoo and conditioner.
Do it!!

Graduating with a b.a. in english

bc it’s what I originally wanted when I first went to college at 17 but I was scared to make writing my job and got a B.S. in Nutrition instead lol
Now the goal is an eventual PhD in Victorian Literature but I’m just happy to have made it through this part at 32!
Stacked is everything I read in my English courses—barely pictured are the 5 stuffed accordion folders of other reading materials under my chair haha
