My friends and I always try to put our subway order in so clearly that the Sandwich Artist™ doesn’t have to ask a clarifying question. It’s basically impossible but I dream of the day when it happens.

I used to have really bad social anxiety that manifested itself most acutely at restaurants so I would practice my order by downloading the menu pdf hours in advance. It helped a lot but then they would ask me a follow up question and I would panic

I was talking to the manager at the grocery co-op while he was ringing me up and I mentioned that I was making a pumpkin loaf this afternoon. He said I love pumpkin loaf. And I stupidly said I can bring some by when I’m done! Why did I commit to doing that lmao

Being a fan
As Perfectly Imperfect subscribers know, being into shit is cool. This was an early rec I made on the PI.FYI app, inspired by Facebook’s “like” feature formerly being called “become a fan” because I find the verbiage so sweet and so supportive. It’ll always be way cooler to be an embarrassing superfan than to have 0 interests.
