I do this in a blank google doc. I light a candle, set a 1 hour timer, turn on ambient music, lean back in my chair and let my fingers fly. I've been trying this without a topic in mind, just letting my fingers go and writing whatever comes up. It's like a meditation combined with journaling, but without the anxiety of examining what you write as you're writing it. Try to go for a full hour and see what you discover. I suppose a caveat is being good at typing, but I have the hours spent typing on AIM in middle school to thank for that.

was gonna write One sentence down just to remember an idea that i wanted to expand on later... and ended up writing 5 pages of admittedly incoherent blabbering, but 5 pages of valuable insight nonetheless! love it when the pen just tells me what to write

currently working through the artistās way, and morning pages have quickly become a fav. Itās a steam-of-thought/get everything on the page daily habit. I find itās great to just get the momentum going if I want to work but Iām stuck on what to do (you can even think through this conflict on the page and brainstorm solutions or figure out why you donāt feel like it). I like to also look through stuff I wrote previously if I had any good ideas I didnāt know what to do with at the time.

so many of my guy friends never have a bag on them and consequently i am frequently the one doling out hand sanitizer/gum and carrying little things for them. luv them and truly happy 2 #provide but it Would be nice if we all carried some things now and then to cover each othersā basesā¦.nowadays i do think more people regardless of gender are bringing bags around for fashion/functionality which is a great trend keep it up ā(also it doesnāt have to be a big bag!! i donāt like carrying around too much stuff eitheršāāļø)
