bee1000 Record sounds, edit sounds, mix sounds, make sounds for things that need sounds. Quite fun really

bee1000 Hey, here is a partial sound design that i did. It's nowhere near completed but i have no desire to finish it so fuck it. i'll put it out there :) In regards to "What does a sound designer do?" Watch it on mute first and then play with sound. I made all the sound you hear! https://youtu.be/EB4tSnNO8es?si=iVwn8pOfRg8EHioS

cleanteeth you don’t say… that makes sense you come across as being very mature and emotionally intelligent and well-read to me. personally I’ve been reverse aging like Benjamin Button my dad says I was both a 90 year old woman and I think I’ve shaved it down to about 50 and then when I get wet brain in my old age I can finally be unburdened and young

i have a bachelors in music, focusing in sound recording tech. took some core EE classes and got a job as an engineer after school. Started a masters and paused because I got a full time. currently unemployed as I was laid off last summer. think dream job would be working in audio/sound/music adjacent engineering with hybrid. Which I did have lol. Working back to it.

i’m burnt tf out but i wouldn’t have it any other way
ok i might be biased cos i work for an audiophile music publication (not to self-promote, but it's called 'tracking angle'), but good sound quality will *change your life*. whether it's listening through a good turntable or streaming studio-quality digital files with a good digital-to-analogue converter, it will absolutely enhance the way you perceive and appreciate music. there is a unique joy in listening to a record you've heard a million times and paying attention to or hearing details you've never heard before. and yes, audiophiles are often an annoyingly snobbish crowd, but you don't need to be an argumentative old man (or rich) to have a great audio system and enjoy it every day. there needs to be more age and gender diversity in people who are obsessed with this. happy to answer any questions about good budget setups.

I saw somewhere the other day that in order to better your life, you must create more opportunities for luck to exist. Today i pushed the opportunities of luck, and in return i have met a wide range of cool people. Life is cooooool
