Okay so i’m in love with music. Its my life. I own so much vinyl and my Spotify library is so sick. Specifically, i love music producing and audio engineering. But, i feel like i’m a really good student who would find more stability going into something like chemical or mechanical engineering. Pls help :( I’m at odds because i want to fulfill my academic talent but also fulfill my music talent…
I’m working on an ambient piece and just realized something: checking the mix as I go speeds everything up.
Yes, there’s value in separating the roles — composer, producer, mixer — but in the end, they’re just hats you switch between.
sometimes i hit slumps of divine nihilism. Nobody listening to this shit what’s the point type mindsets. ultimately i always realize creating music and visuals is the only thing that fulfills me and id hate myself forever if i quit. if i spend the rest of my life at a dead end job ill be happy as long as im still making music.
