The true kind that isn't performative or uptight. How they treat people who have nothing to 'give' them. How they argue. How they accept or give apologies. People that lean in when someone is describing the things they love, but can stand up strong on their ideals if someone is being hurtful. Takes time to understand others and meets everyone with an open mind. Has a sense of humor but not purely for gossip or teasing. Golden Rule type shit. The world is hard, I'm attracted to anyone who tries to make life easier to stomach for themselves and those around them.

I really don’t like when people treat other people badly. It’s unnecessary. the smile on their face could be covering a lifetime of pain, or it could be genuine happiness but how would we know? and either way, the way we treat someone could decide what their next day is like – could be a good or bad day based on a small interaction with little old me. but I’ll never consciously be unkind or hurt someone. we do owe each other something as human beings – kindness. being kind isn’t difficult. be kind. be thoughtful. be warm. be loving. be graceful. be patient.
I was a pretty self-centered kid (as most of us are, developmentally) until I went through some things that made me expand my own horizons surrounding how I judge/don't judge other people. It's good to remember that we're all trying our best out here.
When you find good people, stick with them. When they exude a kindness that’s natural to them, stick with them. I want to be around people who care for others. Who remember, who think of others. Consideration is a virtue.
School made us think reading is a holy act. It is not. Its just something to do. Like watching a movie or sports. You aren’t going to be tested by anyone. Read high. Read drunk. Read 2 pages. Read half awake. Remember nothing or just some of it. It really doesn’t matter
