today, on the exact date of my first saturn return, i’d like to remind you to reflect on how far you’ve come and to pat yourself on the back. it ain’t easy out here but you’re right where you’re supposed to be. the best is yet to come.

Hi! I have been studying astrology for a few years but I haven’t personally experienced a Saturn return so I can only tell you from what I have read up to this point in time so I’m hoping there is at least some merit in what I say here Saturn return is not as scary as some pop astrologers would have you believe, it’s just another growing pain except this time you are taking everything you have ever learned in your life in regards to your own subconscious (4th house) self expression/ego/soul (Sun), your passion/desires, your actions/in-actions (Mars), your thought process + feelings + communication (Moon + Mercury), and maybe even your own family/ancestry as well (4th + 8th house).  You may have felt repressed or constrained in these areas; constantly weighing the consequences of your actions up until this point due to unfair treatment either coming from a situation itself or an incredibly harsh consequence that did not match the mistake made. So long as you remain patient and utilize all past knowledge through your life’s experiences, all the obstacles in your way this year will fall away and you will be so much stronger and so much more confident in yourself which will also reflect in your environment and relationships as well!! It may feel a bit weird too, either things are moving way too fast or stagnating a bit but it’s all for your greater good!! Your patience is one of your greatest superpowers! I hope this helped you in some way and I wish you the best of luck in this time :)

I typically feel a little weird and off on my birthday, but today I am really striving to sit with myself and take stock of how far I have come thus far in this little life. I am living the life that young me had always dreamed of. I have my independence, my own apartment, an artistic practice that excites me and gives me comfort and release. I have some of the best friends any girl could ask for. A family that loves me fiercely and that fully accepts and celebrates my love in return. I have worked hard to replace bad habits with healthier ones, and a lot of the time my habits have slowly changed with me hardly noticing. I’ve simply walked into more health and self-respect with the passage of time, and that feels really good. I may not always feel like I am exactly where I want to be, but then I sit back and remember that in many ways, I am, and always have been. And anyway, the best part of life to me has always been arriving, being on the path towards something and relishing the journey. I took this photo in Joshua Tree last April during a solo trip out West❣️

research. seek answers. learn more. crave knowledge and information. for the love of whatever you believe in, don’t just stop at the headline of that article that momentarily piqued your interest while scrolling, or that one song you randomly heard and loved that one time. look it up- i bet the artist has more songs you’ll be into. i bet you’ll find similar artists that you‘ve perhaps never heard of. i bet actually reading that article is more interesting than the headline (most times, anyway). go down the rabbit hole! diving deeper is cool and fun and interesting.
