khatnip not to be an alarmist but I’m being so serious that if your entire leg is swollen you need to go to the hospital ASAP because that sounds like a brown recluse or black widow bite and you could lose your leg or die!!!!

khatnip taterhole Not to pile on, but def go see a doctor! I almost went into septic shock when I was a teenager because I ignored a swollen arm for a few days after being bitten by a non venomous spider (it was a blood infection). Better safe than sorry!

Urgent care if u need stitches
Don’t go to the ER! If you need stitches, just go to urgent care and be like “I’m bleeding really bad, please”. They’ll see you quicker. The urgent care doctor might encourage you to do the stitches raw no anesthetic, but if you do it you’ll feel really brave and proud of yourself. I still need to go back to get my stitches out, so I’ll lyk in a few days if I can rec that as well…

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
