Maybe apply and do the interview and shoot for it! Even if you get denied you will probably learn what the employer is looking for and you can continue to hone your skills in a more specific way. The worst thing they can say is no !

Try thinking of applying for jobs the same way. Look at every application or interview as a step toward a goal in and of itself. Even the most qualified person is going to apply to dozens of jobs before getting a position. Each application represents another step on that path. Every interview makes you more prepared for the next.
I’ve also heard the advice that you should want to uncomfortable in any new job because that means you are challenging yourself and giving yourself the opportunity to learn and get better.
This is easy for me to say, harder for someone to follow!

Maybe I’ll be modeling for a local shop? Have I ever modeled before? No
but who cares. so I wrote to them.
They will meet with another girl today and if it doesn’t work out, theyll contact me again.
But I am already on their list for future things.
Who would’ve thought? not me.
So just do it. Apply. You’d be suprised how often it works out

Put all the songs you like on one big playlist like it’s an iPod. Hit shuffle. Don’t like a song? Hit shuffle again. I’ve got one that’s 18 hours. Not sure why it took me so long to make it. If anyone asks me to hop on the aux I just hit play and relax.
