It's a large room, comfortably housing 8 to 11 people with space to mill about. It's mostly dark in this space except for some dim yellow candlelight flickering through the gap at the bottom of a heavy wooden door.
The door is unlocked and there's no perceivable noise coming from the other side. Of course you can open it.
It reveals a long corridor to your left and right with a few lit candle sconces on the walls. Nearby are several doors like the one you're peeking out of. You also see that there is a passage that meets perpendicular to the corridor that you now have access to, about 7 or so meters to the right.
