1. Make a frappé. The original Greek kind. 4 tablespoons cold water. 2 teaspoons instant coffee. A lil bit of sugar. SHAKE LIKE HELL. Shake until the coffee becomes a fluffy cloud. Traditionally, you pour this over ice and top with milk and more water. But I prefer to make iced coffee and pour it over that. Lately I've used McDonald's iced coffee K-cups and my favorite instant coffee from Walmart. No milk or creamer in this, and it's fuckkng amazing.

Take a hot double shot of espresso and blend it simultaneously with both ice and sugar using a commercial frother and pour over a few more ice cubes, creating a beautiful, sweet, and surprisingly persistent fine-grained foam resting on top of your delicious chilled beverage. Mainly available in Greece, Albania, and wherever their contemporary diasporas can be found...

i live away from home, have been for almost 4 years now; i’m studying in a city far away from home, and like all college students, i need coffee to function 🙏 here are some things i do to keep the beverage interesting :) • whipped coffee; beat instant coffee, sugar and a tiny bit of water till you see peaks forming, and pour in your choice of milk! can be had iced or hot. i love the little foam layer and bubbles that form on top. • café medici(ish); add milk, cocoa powder and orange essence (pls don’t use orange juice because that’ll split the milk) to your instant coffee and you’ll have a rich, complex flavour which will warm you from the inside. • cardamom café latte; prepare instant coffee in the normal way, add milk and sugar, and then add a pinch of cardamom powder! as an indian girlie, i love chai, so having coffee which reminds me of the flavour of chai is great ;) • coffee cookie ice cream; get a tub of vanilla ice cream, and make a concentrated decoction with instant coffee. crush any cookies/biscuits off your choice. pour the decoction into the tub of ice cream and sprinkle in the crumbs as you mix. pop it back in the freezer for a while and then you’re done! enjoy. • cran-coffee; if you’re not a fan of milk, make a weaker decoction of instant coffee, pour it into cold water, add some cranberry juice and sugar, with a twist of lime. top it off with some ice and you’ll have a refreshing earthy mocktail! what are your favourite ways to have coffee?

I feel like instant coffee gets a bad rep but it’s actually really good if you get over yourself and stop taking coffee so seriously all the time i get the appeal of the espresso turned latte but have you tried a full cup of hot milk on a tablespoon of instant coffee?? or even half milk half water ratio will do it‘s GOOD don’t be a baby about not being a baby justice for the occasional cup of instant coffee.

AAAHHHH I'm learning CSS and HTML to design my own webpage (I'm also using sites like Caard and StrawPage) because I am obsessive with customization and journaling. I have a crippling Instagram addiction but I hate the app. This app seems more my style 👀

I've never touched makeup before but I have this eye pencil thing and decided to doodle on myself. I like it.

I've deleted Instagram. I'm stretching my ears. I'm making video diaries again. I write for myself only. I'm secluded, quiet, I'm grieving, I'm burying myself and I am being buried and I am attending the funeral. I'm alone in all of this. It wasn't a new year resolution that led me here. It wasn't therapy or a fortune cookie or anything romantic. But I realize your story only matters if you plan on telling it to someone. Maybe as a response to something, "what the fuck is wrong with you?", maybe an intimate secret, maybe a drunken ramble. I'm done telling stories. I've been alone for forever. Occasionally someone will drift too close, and I think maybe this time, maybe, maybe... And I'm left scarred, or left quietly, but always left. Of course I have things to reflect on and things to take accountability for. But I'll be damned if I present my isolation as pure, as if I am a martyr. No, this is not for everyone's safety or my own digestibility. I am bringing the chisel down in sharp downward motions against myself again and again and and I will carve something new from this stone tomb. I'll never be David. I'll never be Michelangelo. But I can be something more than stone. I am moving on. I don't know to where or to what end. It doesn't matter. Very little does, now. Maybe it always had such little meaning and I was just too close, to desperate, to see that. I wanted so badly to mean something. Even if it was just to be grieved. No one will miss me, now, as it's always been. But I also don't miss me. Moving on.
