I basically robbed my ex-husband of all his assets but, I'm still unsatisfied, bored and trying to get back in touch with myself. So, I decide to prance around France in my cute outfits and cause mischief for all the local men in an “American Woman in Pakistan“ way, all in an attempt to be happy and for some amusement.

Last summer I spent a lot of time pining over this boy that I had been on and off with for 2 years. He told me this one story about a long boozy summer lunch he had in Brittany and it wouldn't leave my mind. I so deeply wanted to be there and a part of a world where people have long boozy lunches in Brittany. One thing I love about anything (food, movies, books, music) is if it makes me feel like I'm in a different time and place. I decided to fill my home with music that would transport me to Paris in the era of "Gigi", which is this radio station. It's so wistful and nostalgic of my past life as a sexually empowered courtesan. Also, things did not work out with that guy.

What a lovely little song!! I’m transported into a French countryside or maybe Italian countryside or maybe anywhere with SPF on but beautiful sun rays and perhaps some wildflowers along the road sure fine!!!

I became obsessed with this song (and actually the whole album it's on Zou Bisou Bisou including of course its titular track) and it brought me light... sort of my delusional girl Megan Draper moment. I do love 1960s French chansons in general by WOMEN ONLY get out of here SERGE GAINSBOURG 🚫

Watched this last month, and there been a vote, and I’m happy to announce that it’s now my new favourite movie. I’m going to memorize a bunch of quotes, buy a much of memorabilia (a movie poster baby tee, a movie poster, and perhaps Al Pacino pillow ☺️) and learn a much of random facts about the movie to really cement it. Next step, is when someone compliments my super cute Dog Day Afternoon baby tee because they like the movie too, I will quiz them about futile facts to establish dominance and superiority because it’s MY favourite movie. NOTE: this will only be done to men, I will gush and fangirl alongside any non identifying men :))
