Off the Times recipe. So much of it is cheap or already in your pantry!

Each person has those items that will consistently be in their pantries. Mine are garlic, some kind of onion or shallot, red pepper, tomato paste, parm, and what I tell myself is high quality olive oil. Take those things, cook them how you please, and put it on pasta. It’s almost as easy as buttered noodles but more flavorful anf fulfilling than that. When I’m feeling lazy, this is one of the best things I can do for myself. Take your pantry staples and try it out.

It can be easy, cheap, and makes good leftovers. Sometimes I will just doctor up a jar-sauce and add fresh basil and parm and it is pretty good for the amount of effort. If I feel like I need more protein or veggies it is easy to add. I recently tried a recipe that has anchovies, green olives, garlic, capers, cherry tomatoes, and lots of olive oil. I liked it a lot, but realize it is not for everyone.

So easy and rewarding, I got the onion and garlic for free and my gf brought me the tomatoes :-)

A Manson book in which Manson is not even the most evil guy, but someone named DR. JOLLY is. Good example of how Pynchon was not exaggerating at all. I could not put this book down

Alongside the sexist John and Yoko narrative, Boomers like to propagate a similar myth that Paul met Linda and lost some essential virility, became soy and unable to write good songs... in fact he remained the same rock and roll goofball he was before. Ram in particular is a delightful ode to shaggy domesticity-- you're cooking and drinking wine barefoot, there are babies and dogs running around. No wonder these Reaganite freaks didn't get it
