It snowed last night in my area, making the sidewalks wet on my way to school today(first day). As I walked in I forgot to fully wipe my shoes, resulting in me walking down the hallway sounding like spongebob with his annoying squeaky boots. bar for bar squeak for squeak. As awkward and embarrassing as it was, I just walked with a smile and laughed with the people in the hall. Awkward situations like this would cripple a younger me in the moment and after, but now they make me smile and laugh. They remind me everything ends up being okay in the end. Life continues on, memories fade, emotions go away. Taking life to seriously drags down some of the funniest moments in life, laugh at yourself and be you

Pretty sick, went with a friend and it was very funny. $14 Movie Theater IPAs were hitting in a fantastic way. Then we went to see the second half of the Knicks game in some dive in the Village. It was a great time, stumbled on the escalator in front of strangers. 10/10

I have another indie theater that I prefer because it’s cozier, has better vibes, is much closer to me, and everybody who works there is genuinely passionate about film. It’s not really anything special visually but it’s a beautiful institution and it’s so fun to be there ❤️ But this one is an old art deco theatre designed by architect John Eberson (he designed Loew’s Paradise in the Bronx and the Paradise Theatre in Chicago)! It’s pretty run down/poorly managed and staffed but it’s a gorgeous building and definitely worth visiting. Not my photos but included for illustrative purposes!!

The only thing to figure out is that there is nothing to figure out, you just exist. You aren’t a project that has a final answer, you are a just person. Even if there was such an answer, what if you never ”figure it out”? Will that stop you from living the life you want to live? The answer to that question should always be no (unless you’re a scoundrel then control yaself) Just existing isn’t the end of this, but choosing to live will be

It’s so beautiful as a previous book worm to rediscover your love for books. School can make it tiresome to read sometimes but a quick point of view change is needed. Reading leisurely can be so relaxing. Changing my perspective to relaxation instead of it being a “chore” or reminding me of school helped me massively. Got an urge to scroll? Pick up that book!

Pain is a part of nature and the cycle of life To complain and stress about pain is to complain about the beauty of life The beauty of life is not only the happy moments in life but the fact that something comes after, Pain is part of what it means to be human It is not the enemy Even if it was, Acceptance and love for yourself will triumph everytime
