start taking yourself seriously and don't worry about what other people think. easier said than done, for sure! but it's freeing once you do or have sex with everyone, that usually works

Put yourself into increasingly mortifying social situations that make you think what am I even doing here and participate fully (bonus if itā€™s performance-arts-related). Remember to take deep breaths! Try to keep in mind that nobody is thinking about you as much as you are thinking about yourself. Develop your self-esteem and believe that though thereā€™s always room for self-improvement, who you are is enough. Trust that most people are kind and understanding and if they arenā€™t thatā€™s a reflection of their own moral character. The physiological feelings of anxiety might never go away but you can learn to react to them!

my personal mantra is ā€œif everythingā€™s cringe, nothingā€™s cringeā€ and it sounds so silly but it really has helped me. also i spent my teenage years burying myself under 16 layers of irony, so now anything i do out of genuine interest and curiosity feels like taking a breath of fresh air cuz i donā€™t have to justify it with pretentious or apathetic attitudes, it is so freeing

i loveeee going to the receptionist of an office building, to the bartender at a restaurant, the clerk at a clothing store, the assistant at the dentist, to ask them for a bandaid. i know they have them, and i want one. they always ask me what's wrong. sometimes they even ask me if i need help putting it on and i always say yes.
