this playlist is made up of songs about cities, and it’s so so good. she’s canadian, so there’s some fairly obscure canadian gems that i haven’t heard in a long time on it. very lovely and nostalgic :)

One thing I love to do when travelling or staying at a place for a longer period of time is to create a playlist specifically for that country/city. Last summer, I spent the whole of it (or almost) in NYC and I created this playlist at the beginning of the summer that I listened to all summer long and now every time I go back to listening to it, I get transported to my endless summer nights in the city.
But beware, this only works for a number of times before the novelty wears off, so do it once every few months or so and you’ll be able to travel without any plane ticket!
