One thing I love to do when travelling or staying at a place for a longer period of time is to create a playlist specifically for that country/city. Last summer, I spent the whole of it (or almost) in NYC and I created this playlist at the beginning of the summer that I listened to all summer long and now every time I go back to listening to it, I get transported to my endless summer nights in the city. But beware, this only works for a number of times before the novelty wears off, so do it once every few months or so and you’ll be able to travel without any plane ticket!

It was my first time in NYC mid last year and my second time in the US, the song that transports me back to my time there is weirdly “Lee greenwood - god bless the USA” lol I’d never heard of that song before but any tour I was on they played it constantly haha.

I started making this one to collect songs with a specific feeling. To recreate that feeling I had in summers of my youth, hanging out at the local college campus, getting into mild trouble, breaking into and exploring places we weren’t supposed to be, biking around, laying in the grass, killing time playing pool or arcade games next to the alt radio station, seeing what the cool college kids were into. It’s a living document, always being fine-tuned and edited.

this playlist is made up of songs about cities, and it’s so so good. she’s canadian, so there’s some fairly obscure canadian gems that i haven’t heard in a long time on it. very lovely and nostalgic :)

I know, I know, sandwiches might seem basic bring it up a notch by buying (or making in my case) 1- good ass bread like a good artisanal sourdough or foccacia, 2- Make a salad, don't just put lettuce, mix different greens together 3- Add pesto, buy it or make it, it's up to you 4- Good ass cheese, I'm talking a gooddd fresh mozzarella ball cut into slices 5- Protein of your choice. My go to is chicken cutlet but simple mortadella or prosciutto will get the job done 6- Whatever else you want, that's the fun of making sandwiches, no rule just vibes.

Hello! Im a Montreal local so heres my take on it -- Im not vegetarian but I know some pretty good spots
Libraires: Librairie Henri-Julien(my personal fav) -- Librairies Un livre a soi Food: Lola Rosa, Nil Bleu(they have a vegan option), Our place(plenty of vegan option), Lov and Sham(i loveeee it) Leisure: Bike throughout the Mount Royal(a lot of hills tho but when you get there, it feels like Amsterdam), thrift your way through the Mile-End, go to the Musee des Beaux Arts(a classic, last year they had a Basquiat exposition!), Bar hop on St Laurent

I was strolling around the city 5 days ago when I fell upon this wonderfully scented perfume. It had notes of olive tree🫒and rose and a woody underlying theme. It is floral but not the typical kind of floral but rather a more mature floral scent resembling Rose 31 from le Labo. The best part is that is was not that expensive only 55CAD for the mini version(okay pretty expensive.)
