It was a 6 hour drive from where we live and we stayed for 2 nights. We went night snowboarding, ate great food, explored the city and had a wonderful time. The city was clean, the views were beautiful and the people were very nice.
I had always wanted to see this and also knew it would be tough to convince anyone to drive 2ish hours north of Salt Lake City with me to see a pile of rocks. I was in Wyoming for a wedding a few summers ago and that was my chance for a solo trip. Rented a car and drove in the middle of July in the hot hot desert. I had the place to myself. Highly rec solo trips in general because it removes worrying about if other people are enjoying it. Some people might think this was lame as hell and a dusty bumpy car ride but I cried tears of joy!
Rented a UTV with my friend today in Utah and rode it around some trails with the Dixie National Forest and it was a ton of fun just tooling around on the trails. Also went snowmobiling in NH near Bartlett in the White Mountain National Forest and that was a ton of fun too.
There are a lot of trails in the National Parks and Forests that you donβt really know about or have access to unless you have an offroad vehicle.
Iβd never been to montana but Iβm on tour and I drove here. it is so beautiful and I had the best steak for dinner at lolo creek steakhouse. Today I am going to hot springs in like 30 minutes
I usually make resin dice for d&d but i shifted to messing with polymer clay for awhile. I love all things cute so I made this lil guy out of polymer clay! He sits on my desk while I work or game and radiates cute! π§‘
