Rented a UTV with my friend today in Utah and rode it around some trails with the Dixie National Forest and it was a ton of fun just tooling around on the trails. Also went snowmobiling in NH near Bartlett in the White Mountain National Forest and that was a ton of fun too.
There are a lot of trails in the National Parks and Forests that you don‘t really know about or have access to unless you have an offroad vehicle.

Turns out nature is cool. Especially with a big dog who loves to swim and smell dirt. Every summer I find great little hidden swimming holes and hikes and stuff not on google. It’s really well designed too. Go find a hole and take a hike.

kinda like rock climbing but if you fall you have a 33% chance of getting a life altering injury.
i’m in northern Vermont. i drove for 3 days to get here, and visited some wonderful friends along the way. i’m getting a very full day of swinging picks and kicking feet tomorrow before i head towards New Hampshire on Friday morning. did you know Montpelier Vermont is only US state capitol without a McDonalds? that’s all for now, more soon

I met Erin (@RIOTGRRRL) and Jake (@SLOWDAZZLE) last year after I started using PI.FYI—we organized a meetup before a Jonathan Richman show and immediately clicked over our shared taste in music and similar sensibilities. We started hanging out a lot and had some great times together. I’ve also gotten to know many of their friends, who are all really cool. Erin and Jake started dating a couple of months after the three of us became friends, but our group chat still pops off. Their friendship has meant a lot to me, especially since moving to NYC in 2023, and I really appreciate having them in my life.
