i was given my first camera at 9 old, a blue canon underwater camera. i filmed and photographed everything that was important to me at that time in my life. i just found the hard drive with all of my photos from 2010 (i was 10) and it is so special to get to see the world through the eyes of my child-self, i’m still drawn to the same things, i still have the same urge to record life around me because everything is beautiful and fleeting. ive never seen any of these until now and so many memories are flooding back.

i’m no photographer but having something to look back on old memories while at the same time making some sort of art out of it really brings me a sense of comfort. time flies by but I will always have these moments to look back on

imagine it: you're part of a small group of niche experts fighting through the jungle and you're all wearing those weird british explorer hats. going where no one has been before. no sattelite images or anything either. but there's just nothing left man, our ancestors already found everything there is to find, every ocean has been sailed and every mountain has been climbed :l

i cannot stress this enough. takes like 5 minutes. eat your lunch up there. crack open a few cold ones with your mates. just sit. your neighbors won't mind.
