A subscription I end up keeping because I’ll always end up reading all of their various publications (Vulture, the Cut, Gub Street). My parents kept a subscription and I’ve read it forever. I’m not local to New York but something about it feels chic, metropolitan. I bought a sweatshirt they had during a subscriber sale almost solely because it felt like something Carrie Bradshaw would have.

think it’s finally time for me to give up my NYT subscription… I barely open the app anymore. NY Mag on the other hand… you get Vulture, the Cut, Strategist. Always prepared for whatever insane Cut essay drops. Always up to date on Vulture recaps. I love my NY Mag subscription so much.

Spending the💰guilts me into getting through them. It’s nice to get something fun in the mail and support writers. I subscribe to The Baffler and The Drift and The New York Review of Books refuses to stop coming to my house. Would love to learn what other folks are subscribing to but I will say that I personally think the New Yorker allows articles to go on for too long.

I bought a print subscription and, while I almost exclusively consume the writing digitally, I like looking at the magazines Leave em on the coffee table, leave em on the toilet tank. flip thru em! Good times

I usually just make myself drip coffee or a single cup of tea during the week but I’ve got a little time so why not make a whole tea service just for me

It just gives it that extra little umph. Like what was a late night snack is now a self-care ritual.
