prioritize seeing friends and family over your to-do list. since I live in another country, I learned to do that anytime I have a chance.

β°I'm not always good at this. And sometimes it feels so administrative. But, getting a plan on the calendar makes sure that I can prioritize everyone in my life in the way I want, and that feels good. No more planning the weekend on Friday afternoon.

πI joke with my friends that we have quarterly or biannual meetings because the calendars really do get full. Whether it's work, life admin, housework... Give me at least a day's notice but ideally 4 weeks notice and that means I can literally arrange my life to meet with just you on a precious day off π«Ά

πimma be a nerd here for a second but itβs actually insane how data analysis, statistics etc can shape literally your perspective of the world / society.
being able to manage and display data is SO powerful, especially for governments. biggest proof of this is how the US government are now making certain databases either unavailable or straight up changing them to tell the story they want to tell.
learning about it can avoid a whole lot of manipulation. plus I love making cute little charts π
