i went to see my friend‘s friend’s band play their last show in nyc this weekend before their move to Nashville to pursue music full time. they’ve both got gorgeous unique voices and it was so special to see them play a very small intimate venue. you could feel how passionate they were about their music. Highly recommend giving them a listen

my favourite band since 2018!!!!! they are so good!!! wish i could post the videos i have of the concert on here but alas i cannot :’(
their music is so versatile and varied and they are incredible songwriters and lyricists
i think everyone should give them a listen they are so good!! start with do hollywood then maybe songs for the general public or everything harmony

truly one of the best bands i know. lyrics kick ass, and the contrast between the lead vocalist's angelic voice and the lyrics always gets me. FUNNY ASS BAND NAME, their drummer is insanely good, cannot recommend them enough if u like 90's riot grrrl music (tho they are more generally 90's punk rock adjacent)

ok I only ever knew about julia fox from uncut gems and a brief stint as Kanye’s gf, but her memoir is genuinely one of the best things I read in 2024. her life is so interesting and she is such a strong and beautiful person. if you struggle with reading or finishing books, this one’s for you. it’ll keep you wanting more.
