I went to a Suki Waterhouse concert with my gf and we had a blast. We’re both Suki fans but she likes music more on the pop side and I like heavier stuff like punk and heavy metal. So, I went to the concert excited for Suki and expecting another “pop-y sounding” opener, but then Bully got on stage. If I had to describe how they were live, I’d say that they are a mix of Sonic Youth and Paramore. They play fast, aggresive, and screaming, which I very much enjoy. The singer had an amazing voice — both singing and screaming — and played some aggresive riffs on the guitar. The bassist played mostly power chords, which made their sound much fuller and heavier. The guitarist harmonized and dissonanced with the singer’s guitar to add flavor to the music. And the drummer did what punk drummers are supposed to do — he played fast. I was blown away and instantly became a fan. Bought some merch to support them and have been listening to them ever since. Suki was great too but that was expected lol
