every1 should stop buying books and start going to the library. we as a society need to hold barnes and noble and other bookstores accountable for ruining the aesthetic of bookstores. every1 boycott barnes and noble until they revert back to the you've got mail (1998) vibe. also the library is so awesome! like i'm never buying a book that i haven't read before or a movie i haven't seen before ever again!

cold take that I'll be preaching till the day I die but libraries are glorious. buying books is cool but if I'm not trying to own something forever it's so OP to be able to just get it for free when I feel like it. so many movies that aren't on streaming services too, and yet people act like I've blown their mind when I mention the library. why are more people not on this? I literally have three library cards for different cities.

Why am I buying books? I finish 1 out of every 4 I start. Libraries exist. (And they usually have an app now that lets you rent audiobooks or ebooks for free)

go support your local library, read a book, befriend a librarian, learn something new, sit in the silence and contemplate the meaning of life
fun fact: I borrowed and watched seasons 1-7 of game of thrones from the library when I was in high school because I didn't have that sweet HBO money

i love smiling at random people i make eye contact. i feel like a flirty little character in a b movie from like 2004 and i love it. maybe some people think it's creepy and like off-putting but i wouldn't be mad at that either.

i love jackass sooo bad. cannot describe the rush of pure joy I get out of watching grown men maim each other. the movies, the behind the scenes movies, the tv show, wildboyz, viva la bam, i love it all!!! spike jonze and jeff tremaine are my heroes!

I force myself to romanticize my schoolwork otherwise i will not do it. if i'm not pretending to be a nyu student who is super pretentious, the seasonal depression will drown me and i will fail the semester. alternatively, with work i have to pretend i am like a randal/dante esque (Clerks 1994) character to make it through my shift.
