i went down south to my grandparents recently and i’ve gained a new appreciation for still water.
it literally looks like a mirror. i was so amazed and will forever be amazed.
so cool i could not stop staring
one of the highlights of my winter break.

Sometimes we forget how beautiful the world is until we go out and find the beauty. Recently visited Monument Valley, and wow. It is insane on how differently perceived it is from a screen, as to how it truly is in person. Recommend it!🤙

1.appreciate our earth 2.absorb some beauty 3.it‘s free 4.everything we need is already here for us
———🪷🪷🪷 i volunteered at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, which is often left out of the national park convo scene, but perhaps one of my favorite places on earth. and happens to only be minutes of a drive away from me. it was fun to meet new friends, flirt, be in nature, and just show up as myself untested. peak bloom is soon!

let’s face it social media is dead.
create your own corners of the internet! to code is to world build.
i coded and designed my own blog two years ago (it’s linked if you want to take a look at it)
it’s full of my thoughts, music, art, literally everything i love.
i lowkey abandoned it (school was beating my ass but we move)
i’m coming back to it because doesn’t require that i adhere to algorithms or trends.
it’s authentic. it’s feels true to me. it feels like home
even if u don’t code, start off with pinterest, are.na, substack
i feel like the internet can be used to connect us maybe just not in traditional ways like social media.

might be late to the game but art professors can be so wrong about so many things.
they don’t know everything they just know what they been taught.
being able to come to your conclusions regarding your work or art in general is so important
make art to make art. make art to make people feel.
don’t get caught in the loop of trying to get a good grade.
don’t get caught in the loop of trying to sell something.
just make art! (but be open to criticism, it’s a balance)
not even trying to be funny but they be pulling shit out their ass just to hate 😭
