Being a supporting character

Being the main character is hack shit, and really? You ain’t. All the people I see acting like the main character are all like, girls with blonde hair who didn’t hear Sonic Youth until their 20s or guys that that have daydreams about what they’d say as a guest on a podcast. I’m a supporting character. I’m Kramer, not Jerry, and I love it. Who needs a stressful storyline? If I get a storyline it is FUN, and EASY, and most importantly, UNNECESSARY. Most of the time I show up for a few minutes, get my bits in, and peace out. Simply living life.

i don’t hate being myself, i just don’t know how to act normal in front of other ppl i don’t know. like should i be honest and be myself in front of u and risk weirding u out, or should i do the weird masking thing where i pretend igaf about the weather and we go our separate ways and never talk again. and i wish i were slightly weirder and brave so ppl could look at me as a side character, like their own personal Kramer to their main character plot. but a part of me still wants to fit in a little. i can never commit to either side

IDENTIFYING AS AN “ECCENTRIC” AND A “SOCIAL COWBOY”

I circulate various social scenes, like an electron doing figure eights around the subcultures du jour, curiously exposing myself to different value systems and philosophies. I am an individual. I don’t feel like I have to agree with everyone in the room, nor they with me. Sometimes I don’t even know what I’m doing in the room? Just following my intuition. I’m present. I try to be a good listener. I ask questions. I give myself permission to express myself freely without fear of judgement. IMO it’s fun to indulge in a bit of theatrics, change the air, keep things interesting! Have a laugh! Eccentrics are never bored but if you do feel like you’re getting drained or things get dicey you can hop back in the saddle and ride away!
