• finally learn to crochet. Pictured is the adorable beginners kit my husband gifted me for Christmas 🥰 opossums are one of my favorite animals.
• do a mass cleaning out and reorganizing of our home. I’ve laid out the plan and just need to get started!
• get back into yoga regularly. I stopped at the end of my pregnancy and it’s been tough getting to classes, but I need it and it feels soooo goooood.
• build my muscles back up. I feel weaker than usual and I don’t like that!
• in general ensure I’m getting enough time to myself. I’d love to take myself to movies a lot more often.

I’ve been wanting to learn how to crochet but never got past just buying supplies. My boo gifted me this oppossum kit for Christmas and I finished it today!!!! I’m so excited and can’t wait to make more!!! It was frustrating at first bc the instructions that came sucked, but with some of extra research I finally got it and was on my way. I actually made the whole body and restarted because something was off about it. I don’t care enough to fix it any more, I love it as it is.
Have not decided on a name/backstory for this little critter yet… will report back.

picking up a new craft hobby as an adult is so healing. a few months ago, my gateway craft was learning how to crochet, and now I'm making fridge magnets out of air dry clay and turning old tshirts into baskets for my new apartment and life feels so whimsical and wonderful
