i didn’t get to watch interstellar when it initially came out but lady luck loves me and i got to experience watching this masterpiece at the cinema at just the right place and time (with a fully developed brain and plenty of knowledge about the topics at hand). a few years back i also watched disney’s hercules and it was glorious so whatever the movie is i think everyone should take advantage of theatrical re-releases.

when i watched queer for the first time last year, i think i was expecting (and hoping for) a wrwwr/cmbyn-esque film. when it was so not that i think i was disappointed because i had been so excited for that kind of a storyline and style. there was no way it was anywhere close to my top guadagnino films. earlier this month i was watching some of his interviews etc. about the film and decided to watch it again last week and i legitimately think it may be my favourite film of his. knowing the meanings of the symbolism and more surreal elements of the film, and what to expect of the storyline, i connected with the characters soooo much more. this is a mega rec, anyone who rates this film less than a 4 and has only seen it once should rewatch or ur in danger bcs i cannot stand to see that this film averages at a 3.4 on letterboxd, what’s going on??? im embracing pretentiousness bcs no like u actually just don’t get it x this was a testament to rewatching films before projectile vomiting ugly lame opinions of them 🙏 this film is my child!

started as a passion project with work and ended up having an incredible time. we filmed in a very desert type environment and was all about sustainability. i learnt so much. it isn’t the most perfect thing in the world but the lessons ive taken from it are truly priceless

might be a little simple but always hits. 2/3x leeks 5/6 medium potatoes (chopped into bite size pieces) 1x onion 1x garlic 500ml stock of your choice 30ml sour cream/creme fraiche 1. chop your onion, garlic, potatoes and leeks and put into a pan. let that gently fry for 5-6 mins. 2. season with chilli flakes, pepper and a little salt. 3. pour in your stock and turn up heat to boil. 4. leave to simmer for 20 mins. 5. take off the heat, stir in your sour cream or crème fraiche, and season to ur taste. a song for this i’m feeling something a little joni mitchell vibe as this is soooo warm & cosy. maybe joni mitchell - help me
