find ways to reward yourself that work for you! get invested in whether or not you earn your reward as a layer of the plot.
grab a yummy drink after you finish your week of classes, make a pact with a friend to go to your classes together, find something silly to get invested in keeping tabs on during your class so it’s your journalistic duty to go. you have to. whatever it is. if you can’t make the class fun make it fun to incorporate into your week <3

that’s such a horrible place to be stuck in… if you’re needing an analog diversion, maybe try a low effort craft? collaging has been a favorite of mine cuz i can turn off my verbal brain but it’s still stimulating enough to keep me engaged. i’ve also really enjoyed cozy/casual games on my switch cuz they’re distracting but not too hard either
nothing gets me out of a funk better than talking to another human though... maybe facetime a friend to talk about nothing for a bit
stretching while watching a show or listening to a podcast… wakes the body up and keeps the scary thoughts at bay

feels nice to actually have snow and remember that snow still exists and that the world is beautiful
and shovel the driveway with all your heart and feel helpful and collapse in ur room and smile thinking about how pretty it is outside and glad that the snow is still fluffy and isn't slush (yet)
