gave my three-year-old cousin the controller so she could play monkey ball, just as my older cousin gave me the controller so i could play monkey ball when i was three. she had no idea what she was doing (as i did at her age) but she loved it. honestly got a little emotional

My mom's mom would always stay over in christmas mornings when I was a kid. My Dad, Brother and I were really into Prince of Persia so obviously we got the sequel for christmas. We fired up the xbox, watched the intro cinematics, and suddenly it cut to the ass of the villain walking up the steps of her boat. Not just any ass, but her ass in an S&M style body suit with a thong. Grandma laughed her loud and jovial laugh, and my dad (who was playing) froze with embarassment.
Fun stuff!

I recently was re-exposed to a huge part of my childhood—playing Mario galaxy with my little brother! We were obsessed with this game and would play it over and over and over again.
My college housemates and I are having a blast with this—thank you Clem for letting us borrow it <3

locked tf in at 2 years old playing one of my computer games. around this age I really liked little bear‘s rainy day, candyland, elf-elf bowling, and few others I can’t remember. I’m pretty sure this isn’t any of those though 🧐

spent the last two weeks working on an interactive guide, recommendations database, and digital library (link depot) to help get people off of social media. the first draft is done now, and it's at the link to this post.
it's still very much a work in progress (the library is especially thin atm) - which is why i wanted to share it here before unleashing it upon my IRL friends and the general public. i welcome any and all feedback, bug reports, and suggestions for things to add. i will be pushing updates to it out like a madman in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back every so often to see new additions to the database and library.
additionally, i am still on the hunt for newsletters from local venues / community organizations / magazines / newspapers, etc. the only cities i have remotely covered so far are nyc, orlando, denver, brisbane, and little bits of worcester and chicago. if you know anything in your area that fits the bill, send it my way!
