I’ve been a part of run crew culture for more than ten years. We hosted an orienteering event through Good Sport Magazine, and turns out, a bit of running, a bit of walking, a heap of problem solving and teamwork is very good.
Just had the opportunity to do another obstacle course 5k. Super fun, and not too tiring at all (even for someone like me who has no muscle mass.) w experience, just another way to make life more interesting.
My friend and I both don't like running very much as exercise, but the other night we did the childhood activity of "running around" in my backyard and THAT was great.
This is literally the only way that has worked for my body and mind in a healthy way — be a little silly with your friends, hone a skill (like kicking or shooting or hitting a ball with a stick) and the running is just along for the ride (also good that you get a little sprint and a jog in and can sometimes be exercising for like 2 hours without even thinking about it)
