I grew up going to this one a lot with family and friends so it has a special place in my heart (This pic is from Google maps because I cant find any pics of it in my phone)
not entirely a dive but it is a diner!! the website says it has been “voted central jersey’s best diner since 1997”
i had to go with a diner i grew up going to because that is the epitome of jersey culture. open 24 hours of course!! & as a kid i really loved their chocolate chip pancakes and these little coin machines by the entrance that had little figurines or temporary tattoos
i chose a non-artsy photo stolen from flickr to really help everyone not lucky enough to be from new jersey imagine the experience of driving off the highway on a gray day to stop at a diner
I could eat at this place every day and never tire of it. Delicious Italian food in BedStuy. Everything is fantastic. I go there solo on my way home from work sometimes. I take all my friends there. The first time I went, my sister and my friend and I ordered a second one of each of our entrees to take home because they were so fuckin’ amazing. And they have live jazz on Mondays!
