my spotify dj said “and now i’m gonna play a lana del rey track you haven’t heard in the longest time, perhaps you’ve never heard it before”. in that moment i’m thinking its about to play something niche or genuinely something i haven’t heard. plays cherry 😮‍💨 i was so offended i haven’t used dj since but i’ll give it another go

michaelasworld tbh i do skip songs a lot. i'm also pretty sure it has a dead end, because it eventually ends up repeating songs from the beginning in the same order, until it resets the next day lmao…and that's my cue to stop 😭😭

deleting spotify

it's been a week since i'm rid of it and tbh i don't really miss it; i just buy cd's from the charity shop and listen on my cd player when home. if i REALLY crave a certain song whilst out and about then i'll just go on youtube. so far it's nice to not have the decision paralysis of what music i want to listen to and i feel like i'm getting to experience music as more of a whole thing bc i can't just keep flicking between artists. and i'm not ashamed that i did enjoy coldplay's parachutes album on a soft and fading thursday evening!

Its getting draining I can’t bear to take another radio channel thats made for me I just want the radio made for the song I’m trying to discover It’s just a lot, sometimes I wish I could have a separate account with no likes to browse and explore uninhibited
