Been listening to this song on repeat for 30 min while i cook my sister dinner. I have been a Destroyer fan since I was about 15. One of my friends gave me a mix cd from her older sister right before rubies came out. I donβt know why my experience with other Destroyer fans since then has always been repressed indie guys in tired flannel shirts because the music is more interesting than that. I don't think those guys even like it. they just stand immobile with their arms crossed at their shows, scowling. dan has one of the most emotional voices i know, at least for me
