gather as many papers as you have people. Fold the papers in 3rds, or even more if you have long paper and many friends. Everyone draws on the top third, then folds it back so the next person can’t see, then the next person draws on the middle third, folds it back, then the Same for the final third - and then you all unfold them and you have crazy drawings! (You can do this with 2 people as well, just pass them back again after the second third). you do not have to be even remotely good at drawing for this to be fun. Some people say the thirds are head body and legs, I say It is far too limiting to make that a rule, but is a good starting point. Here is an example of an exquisite corpse by my mother, me, and my grandmother:—}

Draw a part of a monster on folded paper and then rotate papers so you draw the next part without seeing the previous

if your adult relationship to drawing is stunted and you can’t stop repeating the same 5 doodles & getting discouraged then accept that as a meaningful constraint & push it to its limit…soon you’ll have a cohesive series of drawings and an elaborate grammar of how those motifs interact…systematically generating organisms in a shared ecosystem instead of trying to fill pages with “”””ideas”””””

Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
