this is a super well-produced 90 minute tv special that the bbc aired on halloween. basically everything late night with the devil attempted, this does way better.

Ghostwatch (1992)

One of the best found footage horror mockumentaries I've ever seen. I got to watch it for the first time at a local independent theater and it still haunts me to this day! ~1,000,000 phone calls were made to BBC received after the show was broadcast... On Live TV. This shows how brilliant this film is.
For the Halloween season, I definitely recommend adding it to your watchlist!
