I've read this three or four times — and it has given me a toolkit for navigating intense, emotional, impactful conversations in my personal life and in lots of other spaces.
Essential for everyone, IMHO.

this book is a true story about a therapist who starts going to therapy. you get to read about her experience and the experiences she has with her patients.
one of my favorite reads that i’ll recommend to anyone who’ll listen 💕 it brought me out of a really tough time and made me feel grown!
I just started working it after several friends recommended it to me and then one went ahead and gifted me the workbook.
Doechii spoke about the book saying that after she got sober this helped her access her highest creative self and write her most recent award winning album within a month.
There are many other similar testimonies. I find it a beautiful synchronicity that I began this 3 month commitment on my 2 month soberversary, and I love the bits the author includes about her own sobriety in the introduction.
I can already tell this will be added to my list of
Essential Reads for the People I Love:
which currently includes-
-Demian(Herman Hesse)
-Women Who Run With the Wolves(Clarissa Pinkola Estés,PHD)
