crocheted lampshades

recently my boss purchased a crocheted lampshade from a merchant fair in paris and it got me thinking about the endless lampshade crafting possibilities. i found some that combine doilies and little flowers, pearls … my dead iowan great grandma would go crazy over this, i wish i could make one for her.
