One of my all time favourite musicians and lyrical inspirations. People often laugh when I say that as if it were a joke! Such a lyrical storyteller, such a talent!

I agree. I think she’s extremely talented and intelligent for lyrics, but I found it doesn’t translate quite as well in English. I think in anglo-world she’s perceived as someone who makes fun music (which is also true), but I hope people would focus more on the lyrics in Spanish as well 🤞🏽🖤
