Can’t even articulate what this song feels like for me. It’s simultaneously devastating and enlivening. I feel human when i listen/sing/feel this song.

I’m walking alone in dark, cold, snowy weather on the streets of some Eastern European city letting my entire body feel the intensity of all the world’s sorrow when I hear this song. Not to be dramatic.

For the longest time I thought Anthony Bourdain and Leonard Cohen were related because they share a lot of similar features. I was very disappointed when I found out they were in fact, not related. Anyways, I’ve been craving visiting an abandoned church as of late and this song vicariously assuages that desire for the time being 🖤

Absolutely heartbreaking and devastating, but one of the best albums I’ve listened to in recent times I love the mellow guitar vibes and the vocals are just perfect in every way to encapsulate the nostalgia and melancholy of the themes the album talks about Just listen to it, trust me

That album really scratches every itch in my brain. The beats are perfect. It's pure joy. Like most expressions of joy, it's complex and discordant. The words do not line up with the way my body wants to move to the sounds. The words are truly devastating, but in combination with the beats it's a beautiful expression of the humanity of dialectics. These two truths are opposing but they exist as true at the same time: I feel horror and love and devastation and excitement. These things are all true.
