Honestly because it seems as if music itself changed right here. Here are Ralf and Florian teaming with Wolfgang Flur for the first time playing a melodic and truly electronic piece from an album that they still won’t reissue and seem to hate because it shows the early blueprints. Bent and homemade electronics, early synths, before the facades and the themes, its just Kraftwerk further hammering the ideas of electronic music into place on television of all places.

Even if you end up having to go somewhere else, there still will be culture to get involved in, people to meet, things to learn, realizations to be made. Hidden in a neighborhood in a building designed by Ando, lots of rotating exhibitions often involving queer art and history, digital art, and bigger art and architecture retrospectives. Prob as close to a secret big art space as you can get in Chicago.
